Century Home Laundry Room
Laundry room renovation in 100+ year old home. Partially framed single story addition was reframed, gaining an addition 6 inches of ceiling height. The partial concrete slab floor was extended and subfloor underlayment was installed. New plumbing for a laundry sink and washer were run and new electrical circuits for the washer, dryer, lights, and baseboard heater were added and passed inspection. Framing and drywall installation and finishing were completed. Dryer vent to the outside was drilled through concrete block wall and an attic access hatch was added. Cellulose insulation was blown into the attic space above the laundry room and adjacent kitchen to meet building code insulation targets. An engineered hardwood floor was installed as well as cabinetry and all finishing details.
